Diamondbacks line-up

  1. A.J Pollock CF
  2. Chris Owings SS
  3. Chris Herrmann C
  4. Yasmany Tomás LF
  5. Oswaldo Arcia RF
  6. Jack Reinheimer DH
  7. Kristopher Negrón 1B
  8. Domingo Leyba, 3B
  9. Ildemaro Vargas 2B
+ RHP Zack Greinke, RHP Braden Shipley, RHP Kevin Jepsen, RHP Tom Wilhelmsen, RHP Evan Marshall, RHP Jimmie Sherfy

Bit of a late shuffle in the line-up: Owings was original scheduled to be DH, but will also be playing the field at short. as Ketel Marte has been scratched. Reinheimer takes over at DH, and Leyba comes in for him at 3B. I think. :)

Will be looking for an improvement from our pitching staff over the painful drag over broken glass which was yesterday’s contest. But if ever the phrase, “It can hardly go any worse,” was appropriate, I’m thinking now would be it. Though it feels like quite a B-lineup this afternoon, especially in the bottom half of the order. Interesting that Greinke is being caught by Herrmann, as opposed to Jeff Mathis, who appeared to have a job secured at Zack’s personal catcher.

This game is on Fox Sports Arizona again, though I probably won’t be able to pay quite as much attention today. Mind you, given yesterday was like watching a road-crash unfold in slow motion on the other side of the highway, hopefully I don’t need to!
