Arizona Diamondbacks Spring Training Gameday Thread, #31: 3/28 vs. Seattle Mariners

The final bit of “official” Cactus League action, as the D-backs head to Peoria.

A lot of activity around the team this morning, with a host of roster moves, which appear to have solidified some of the bullpen spots, and also added a backup first baseman, for some reason or other.

But the main excitement today will be Greinke’s final start of the preseason. The next time he takes the mound will be on Sunday, for Opening Day against the San Francisco Giants. It’s been an odd sort of pre-season, with his velocity coming under particular scrutiny. He only has a couple of Cactus League starts to his name, with a 4.05 ERA in just 6.2 inning, with a K:BB of 5:3. But as ever: it’s only spring training. Be nice to see him finish on a high note though.
