Arizona Diamondbacks Spring Training Gameday Thread, #28: 3/25 vs. Los Angeles Angels

Interesting to see Bracho among the scheduled pitchers today. He hadn’t pitched since being injured in the World Baseball Classic, but if all goes well, this could mean he’s healthy enough to be part of the roster on Opening Day. Since he’s already on the 40-man, that could be a significant factor.

This will be Walker’s penultimate start before the regular season begins. After getting out of the gates incredibly hot, not allowing a run over his first three starts, he seems to have cooled off a bit, though his K:BB ratio is still thoroughly impressive at 25:2. Keep an eye out for his slider, which we’ll be writing about more tonight. This game is on the radio, on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, and will be broadcast with a tape delay tonight on Fox Sports Arizona.
