Still no Yasmany Tomas, and according to Steve Gilbert, he is “likely out of the lineup again for the next couple [of] days,” as a lower back issue continues to plague him. Mind you, given Tomas now has fewer hits this spring than Tim Tebow, it’s perhaps not a bad thing.

No Pollock, who is still recovering from tweaking his groin on Sunday. He doesn’t apparently consider it a major problem, but did say it’s the same spot which caused him to miss the last four weeks of the 2016 season, and he felt it play up in a similar way. “It might have been a nice little warning to say ‘Hey, this has got to be part of your routine to have a couple of exercises for the groin to keep that activated.’ But I feel pretty confident about everything.” Fingers crossed he’s right.

Today’s game will, according to the broadcast schedule, be available on television through Fox Sports Arizona (and FoxSportsGo), and on the radio via MLB.com. And finally, you’ve got to admire the line-up the Colorado Rockies sent out today, March 14 = Pi Day.
