Arizona Diamondbacks Spring Training Gameday Thread, #5: 3/1 vs. Chicago White Sox

First things first: this one is on I dunno what the situation is for spring training games: whether you need a paid subscription, or if this is available with the free one which is all I’ve bothered with. [Since I don’t really care about watching any other team’s games] I’m sure we’ll figure it out. I’m presuming it’ll be the White Sox feed, since Fox Sports Arizona coverage starts with the Dodgers’ game on Friday. If so, I wouldn’t expect much in the way of insight about the D-backs. But, hey, it’s D-backs baseball, and will be embraced as such, in the way a man lost in the Sahara embraces a 48-oz Thirstbuster.

It also sees the last of our rotation (barring Zack Greinke) to take the mound: all the candidates will have had their first shot. I’m readying my Hawt Taikes on this, naturally. Because two innings is enough to pronounce definitively who’s going to be our fifth starter. Anyway, here is video of the Diamondbacks’ bus leaving Salt River Fields this morning. What a wonderful time to be alive...
