Possibly taking his cue from the rotation’s ace pitcher, Shelby Miller had another less than positive outing, allowing five runs on 11 hits in only 4 1/3 innings.

La Russa: Diamondbacks can be dramatically better.

Diamondbacks CBO Tony La Russa is hoping that the Diamondbacks are able to learn numerous lessons from this season and apply them next season.

Pollock Showing off Improved Arm

Since his return from the DL, Diamondbacks center fielder A.J. Pollock has two home runs and is batting .278 to go with four stolen bases and some great glove work in center field. The Dodgers’ Josh Reddick can now attest that the scouting book on Pollock’s arm might need to be revised to being a weapon as well.
