Today seems pretty bleak. Jose Fernandez, Arnold Palmer, Cardinals losing, and the Diamondbacks get swept. It’s at times like this I try to remember Solomon’s ring, “This too shall pass.”

Arizona Diamondbacks-Greinke likely done for the season - It’s likely taht Zack Grienke of the Arizona Diamondbacks will not pitch again this season . Manager Chip Hale announced the news before Saturday night’s game against the Orioles. That means Greinke will not pitch in Washington nor the season finale next Sunday at home against San Diego.

Nationals return home to face D-backs - The Washington Nationals return home to play Monday against the Arizona Diamondbacks following a three- city road trip to Atlanta, Miami and Pittsburgh.
