Pit Your Wits '16: Week 17

Well, I've used last week's prompt before, and gotten more enthusiastic results. We did find a couple brave souls willing to step up to the ESPN anchor desk, however...

Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

In first place, we find Makakilo with his hopefully-not-too-scorching hot take featuring... Lemon souffles?

Lemon Soufflé
You dreamed big. You shocked the baseball world by stealing Greinke from the Dodgers. Even pundits critical of trading for Miller, admired your determination. You let fans expect a winning record and contention for this year's post-season.

Instead, adversity gave you lemons. Get over it quickly! Today, what are you doing? Did I hear "exhaustive analysis?" It must be more than an exhaustive analysis! Are you making lemon soufflé? Can you talk while you cook? Please tell fans you have a great recipe for making lemon soufflé!

When passion is channeled into a compelling enthusiasm and desire, the result is awesomeness.

In second, we have Rockkstarr. How do you help a fiery hot take? Obviously, add alcohol to make it an inferno!

I'm allergic to lemons (& everything citrus)
So when life throws me lemons,
I duck & let everyone else make Mike's Hard Lemonade!

And... that's it. Those were the only entries. Sorry guys, hopefully this week's prompt is more inspiring :-/

As you can probably notice, this is going up a day late, because I was subjected to a terrible #FirstWorldProblem. My power went out for a few hours during the time I have to write this each week, so I had to postpone it a day. That got me thinking. Let's say the power went out at Chase. What (SFW) activity would you do to pass the time? Go!
