In what is a rather rare occurrence, there are no ties this week, with a sole owner for every podium position. I asked you what you would do with a refund for a full season ticket package, and you pretty clearly chose your favorites. Taking first place is thunderpumpkin87 with a very practical suggestion
Spend the money to go to the Dbacks road games
and actually watch the Dbacks win some games.
A little piece of me will always be missing, since Brandon Webb left us so soon :-(

In second place, we find Oldenschoole with a less practical, but more effective, way to use the refunds
Pool part of their refunds
and buy the Diamondbacks.

And in third, we have 'Hacks with a catchall idea that could be any number of suggestions
Spend it on entertainment
This is just the beginning

Now let's take a look at the updated standings. This is the last week to climb up to first place and take it away from TylerO. We'll take a week off for the All Star Break, and then once baseball resumes, we'll resume with a clean leader board, and hopefully some new ideas as we march off towards the end of season showdown between our two champions!

This week, a huge part of the Diamondbacks was traded to the Red Sox. Brad Zeigler, by basically every measure, was one of, if not the, best reliever ever to come out of the home bullpen at Chase Field. Whether it was as a fireman, coming in just to get that GIDP, or eventually as a closer with the longest string of consecutive saves in Dbacks history, he took whatever role we threw at him. As a team, we are rather starved for historical figures, so let's go ahead and come up with some way the team could honor Zeigler, the best reliever on a team that has a rather hit or miss run of bullpen help. Go!
