Earlier today, we found out that Jake Lamb was snubbed from the first 32 spots on the All-Star game roster for the National League. Now he needs your help to get the 33rd and final spot on the team through a BS voting process, but that's the game we play. Jake Lamb is batting .290/.365/.609 with 19 HR and 59 RBI in the 2016 season and currently leads the National League in slugging percentage. In addition, Lamb ranks in the top 10 in both fWAR (7th/3.3) and bWAR (9th/2.8). The fact a player who is producing as a Top 10 player in the league is not in the All-Star Game is a travesty.
The five players up for the final vote are Lamb, Trevor Story, Brandon Belt, Starling Marte, and that cheater Ryan Braun. Lamb will face an uphill battle since he's not as big a name as the other 4 players despite the fact he's significantly outproducing them on the field (as shown below).
Twitter: When voting to Lamb, make sure to include the hashtag #VoteLamb. If you're not sure, here's an example from our submarine-throwing closer. Apparently these votes don't count until the final 6 hours of the voting process.
So the guy leading the NL in SLG % (Lamb) & the guy 2nd in hits (Segura) aren't on the all-star team? What an absolute joke. #VoteLamb

So if you have Twitter, get on it and vote often.
Online: This link will take you to the ballot.
Cell Phone: Text N3 to 89269. Standard messaging rates apply.
At the Ballpark: If you're going to the game tomorrow, keep on the lookout for a computer stand by Section 132. They usually have a couple computers that you can stuff the ballot box for Lamb. It will be the same instructions as the online option above.
If you have time to burn, start stuffing the ballot box. Make sure you don't sign up for anything by accident, you can check off that box.
Among the five Final Vote candidates, he has clearly put up the best numbers overall, as is shown in the table below, sent out by the team in support of his candidature. So getting Lamb in there is not homerism - well, not just! - it's also about honoring the best player.
