This Week in Diamondbacks Tweets

An ugly week for the D-backs, who won only once, saw the smallest crowd ever at Chase and wrapped up their season by getting one-hit in San Francisco. Jake Lamb also failed to make the All-Star Game.

Tweet of the Week

With 550 retweets, among non-selfish Tweets e.g. not "Retweet for a chance to win...", it was the team's most popular since June 2014, and third-most all time. To give you some idea, it was retweeted 16 more times than "#Dbacks manager Kirk Gibson and bench coach Alan Trammell have been relieved of their duties." Sadly, it wasn't enough for Lamb, but it did get us the brief existence of Paul Goldschmidt and his now-deleted Twitter account. It was, let's be honest, kinda bland: pictures of a tray of garlic fries was about as controversial as it got. Brandon McCarthy was not exactly challenged at the top of the baseball Twitter pyramid.
