It seems as if anyone who suits up to play center field for the Diamondbacks on a semi-regular basis in the last calendar year has suffered catastrophic injuries. AJ Pollock is out for an indefinite amount of time with a broken elbow, David Peralta has spent a lot of time on the DL with back and wrist problems, Chris Owings is battling plantar fasciitis again, and now Socrates Brito is out at least a couple months with a fractured big toe on his right foot.
#Dbacks recall Brandon Drury from the Triple-A Reno @Aces and place Sócrates Brito on the 15-day DL (fractured right toe).

The Diamondbacks move on the 25-man roster to replace Brito for the meantime is calling up 3B Brandon Drury, who has been playing mostly corner OF this year. That means that Michael Bourn will be playing everyday in center field barring another roster move. The team does have some interesting depth options in AAA between Todd Glaesmann and Mitch Haniger, but both would require a 40-man roster move in order to promote to the majors.
