Not a good night for the affiliates as Braden Shipley got beat while the Aces relief pitching struggled, and both Rookie League teams got waxed. Tomorrow's another day and three affiliates return from their all star break.

AAA: Reno 10 Las Vegas 12. Braden Shipley wasn't very sharp though it wasn't an out-and-out disaster. He got through 5 innings allowing 4 runs on 5 hits and 4 walks while striking out 4. The offense actually took a one-run lead with a 5-spot in the bottom of the 6th on 4 singles, a triple and a walk. Then Dominic Leone entered the game in the 8th and promptly got mauled for 5 runs on 3 hits and 2 walks. Tuffy Gosewisch hit a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 8th to get back within one but got no closer. Gosewisch drove in 3 runs including his 7th home run of the year. Kyle Jensen had a double and a triple and drove in 2. Mitch haniger hit a solo home run, his 6th for Reno and 10th of the year.
AA: Mobile - All Star Break
A+: Visalia - All Star Break
A: Kane County - All Star Break
A-: Hillsboro 1 Eugene 8. Anfernee Benitez got roughed up to the tune of 5 runs in 4 innings, and the bullpen surrendered 3 more. The offense wasn't to be found as they managed just 5 singles, though they did walk 7 times. Unfortunately they were 1 for 10 with runners in scoring position and never threatened the early deficit.
R: Missoula 4 Great Falls 10. Chester Pimentel started and wasn't very good giving up 5 runs before leaving with one out in the 6th. To his credit he struck out 5 and walked none. Three subsequent relievers each gave up at least one run and this one was never close. Didimo Bracho had a double and his first home run while Ramon Hernandez went 2 for 4 with his first home run.
