Peter O'Brien did it again, this time with a 2-out, walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 9th to give Reno an 8-6 come-from-behind victory. It was O'Brien's 13th home run in 44 games and his 39th RBI putting him on pace for 45 homers and 136 RBI. He's sporting the kind of hit tool the Dbacks probably thought they were going to get when they paid all that money to Yasmany Tomas.

AAA: Reno 8 Las Vegas 6. The Aces trailed 6-3 heading into the bottom of the 9th and it didn't look good when Ed Lucas flied out to start the inning. But Jack Reinheimer singled and Tuffy Gosewisch doubled followed by walks to Sean Jamieson and Todd Glaesmann to load the bases while cutting the lead to 6-4. Mike Freeman struck out for the 2nd out before O'Brien hit the first pitch he saw over the right field fence sending the Reno fans home happy. It got the Aces back to .500 and made a winner of Enrique Burgos. Kyle Drabek started and went 7 innings allowing 5 runs on 10 hits. Kyle Jensen also homered, a 3-run shot in the 3rd that temporarily tied the game.
AA: Mobile 7 Pensacola 3. John Omahen picked up his 4th straight win with a solid outing giving up 3 runs (2 earned) over 6 innings on 7 hits without walking a batter and striking out 5. It evened his record at 4-4. The bullpen followed with 3 scoreless innings as Jimmie Sherfy closed it out by striking out the side. Sherfy has 17 strikeouts against 2 walks in 8 innings of work since being promoted to AA. He may be working his way onto the list of potential callups to the big squad if he keeps this up. Jamie Westbrook led the offense with a perfect 3 for 3 night scoring twice and driving in one. Mitch Haniger hit a 2-run homer, his 5th of the season.
A+: Visalia 4 @ San Jose 2. The Rawhide tallied a pair of runs in both the 5th and 6th innings to overcome a 2-0 hole and the bullpen took care of business from there. Emilio Vargas started and gave up 2 runs over 4 innings before turning things over to the pen. Four relievers went the rest of the way posting 5 shutout innings on just 2 hits with Bud Jeter collecting his 5th save. Dawel Lugo and Colin Bray led the offense with each collecting 3 hits and an RBI.
A: Kane County 0 Burlington 8. The Cougars got waxed via shutout as Junior Garcia got tagged for 5 runs in less than 5 innings and Tyler Mark gave up 3 more. Jason Morozowski singled leading off the 1st inning and that was the last hit they got.
