Archie Bradley had perhaps his best outing of the season last night going 7 strong innings allowing 2 runs in Reno's 3-2 win over Fresno. He gave up 5 hits, walked just 2 and struck out a healthy 11 batters on 114 pitches. That's a pretty stout pitch total and he's probably ready for another crack at the majors. As long as he keeps the walks under control he'll be pretty tough. Of course that's been a pretty big if so far. In 28 innings of AAA he's given up 18 hits and 14 walks with 34 strikeouts.

AAA: Reno 3 @ Fresno 2. Archie Bradley pitched well throughout a tight game going 7 innings allowing just 2 runs in the 4th. He struck out 11 and left the game with a 3-2 lead. Evan Marshall pitched the 8th striking out one, and Silvino Bracho handled the 9th with 2 strikeouts earning his 3rd save. The offense wasn't electric but managed single tallies in the 2nd, 3rd and 7th innings. Sean Jamieson went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI to lead the way. Carlos Rivero and Zach Borenstein each added 2 hits.

AA: Mobile - Off day

A+: Visalia 10 @ High Desert 2. The Rawhide are easily the best minor league affiliate to date with a sporty 18-7 record and they did it again in impressive fashion on Tuesday. Ethan Elias was sharp with 6 solid innings allowing 2 runs (one earned) on 5 hits with 6 strikeouts. Drew Muren and Miller Diaz went the final 3 frames just as solidly. The offense blew it open with a big 7-run 4th inning and cruised from there. Henry Castillo drove in 2 on 2 hits including his 3rd home run. Cody Regis drove in 3 and Colin Bray drove in 2. Domingo Leyba walked 4 times.

A: Kane County 3 Lake County 6. Starter Junior Garcia had trouble and couldn't get out of the 4th inning after allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. Bo Takahashi righted the ship and kept the game close with 3.1 innings of shutout relief. That gave the offense time to tie the game at 3-3 in the 7th, but Cameron Gann got bounced around in the 9th to the tune of 3 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks and there were no more rallies. The offense couldn't manage the key hits going 2 for 13 with runners in scoring position. Zach Nehrir went 2 for 5 with a double.
