Miller, De La Rosa to DL - O'Brien, Others Called Up

The Diamondbacks have made a number of changes to the 25-man roster today, with five new members joining the squad.

While it was expected that Miller would go on the DL today, the additional name of Rubby De La Rosa comes as something of a surprise. Though De La Rosa missed a start last week, it was for a bit of fatigue and a groin issue. The DL stint is being listed as due to elbow inflammation.

Additionally, Andrew Chafin and Evan Marshall have been optioned to Reno. The counter moves are that Josh Collmenter, Dominic Leone and Silvino Bracho have all been called up to fill out the roster. Although Archie Bradley has not yet been called up, it seem that it is only a matter of the team waiting until the day of his start to make the move official as the team now has only three starters on the roster.

More details to follow shortly.
