Zack Greinke stifles St. Louis Cardinals as Arizona Diamondbacks win - The St. Louis Cardinals are normally difficult outs for any big league pitcher, but when he's on his game, Zack Greinke is tough for anyone to solve.

Zack Greinke dominates as Arizona Diamondbacks take series from St. Louis Cardinals - Right-hander Zack Greinke threw eight strong innings as the Arizona Diamondbacks earned a series victory over the St. Louis Cardinals with a 7-2 victory on Sunday.

When Will the Arizona Diamondbacks Call Up Peter O’Brien? - Why is Peter O'Brien not on the Arizona Diamondbacks' roster? He was crushing the baseball late last season while with the team after putting together an amazing year at Triple-A where he hit 26 home runs and drove in 107.

Gerardo Parra is making Rockies baseball fun again

So we finally get a series win that feels closer to what we expected out of this year.  We get a series win against an above .500 team that is expected to at least get a wild card spot.  Bad news is, the Giants took 2 of 3 from the team expected to win that same division (Cubs).  It's good to see Goldie (no one will convince me it's supposed to be spelled with a y) have a better series with some better at bats going 5 for 10.  He was spreading his hits all across the field too which is what we expect from our perennial All Star.  These are the types of series that tend to be slump beaters and I think we'll see Goldie have a great June.
