Diamondbacks Top Cardinals to Snap Losing Streak at Busch Stadium
The Diamondbacks hadn't won there since June of 2013.
D-backs go on Offensive, Win Opener vs. Cardinals
Chris Herrmann Stays Hot with Two Hits vs. Cardinals
Piecoro on how Herrmann is both a pleasant surprise and one of the key players so far this year.
Ruben Tejada Pitches for Cardinals, Fares Poorly
In fairness, Tejada fared a bit better in certain departments than Broxton, Delgado, or Marshall. But the two hits he allowed went over the fence. The Diamondbacks haven't used a position player in that role since Josh Wilson in 2009, making this perhaps the one area where the Diamondbacks are better than the Cardinals.
Diamondbacks News

Collmenter has two rehab outings left. While he has options left, I think he would have to accept an option, due to his service time. If he's right, of course, the Diamondbacks need him.
Herrmann Catching Fire for D-backs
Imagine how the double plays in the second, third, and fourth innings last night would have felt without Herrmann's RBI single in the first. Actually, don't. That's too depressing.
Peter O'Brien's Call-up Only a Matter of Time
Apologies if this was posted yesterday, but it seems that the Diamondbacks are waiting on him to improve in left field.

Looking Ahead
D-backs Ray Opposes Almost-Dback Leake
By all reports, Mike Leake wanted to be a Diamondback, but Ken Kendrick wouldn't expand payroll enough for it to happen. Here's hoping that the Diamondbacks still remember how to hit him from last year.
