  1. Jean Segura, 2B
  2. Chris Owings, CF
  3. Paul Goldschmidt, 1B
  4. Welington Castillo, C
  5. David Peralta, RF
  6. Yasmany Tomas, LF
  7. Jake Lamb, 3B
  8. Zack Greinke, P
  9. Nick Ahmed, SS

There we go. The main surprise - at least, if you showed this to anyone before about last week! - is, of course, the presence in center field of Chris Owings, better known as a middle-infielder. Has anyone ever gone from starting at second base one Opening Day, to playing center field the next Opening Day? That's a question for Elias, I'd say. The presence of a left-hander clearly makes a difference here, otherwise it would probably be Socrates Brito in CF. However, good to see that Lamb still gets to start, something which happened very rarely last season. Let's hope this is the start of him being a true everyday player.

It'll also be interesting to see if batting the pitcher eighth is something the Diamondbacks do regularly. While we did see a lot of that in spring, Greinke is not exactly your average hitting pitcher at the plate. If he's a rabbit, he's more like the one from Donnie Darko than Beatrix Potter.
