A full day of scoreboard watching for Diamondbacks fans today, though at least they have had the good grace to stagger the two contests, so we don't have to preface every comment with a note indicating which game we mean! Game 1 certainly looks to have the edge in terms of an offensive line-up - Game 2 has Gosselin in the #3 spot, which could well be the first time he has ever started there! [He has never batted third or fourth in the majors to this point] However, the pitching looks to be better in Game 2; in the opener, it's possible Delgado is the only guy we'll see who will make the Opening Day roster.

Two more contenders for the fifth spot see action, in Godley and Ray - after both Rubby De La Rosa and Archie Bradley struggled yesterday, it's a chance for both men to improve their positions with good performances. Not sure about the broadcast situat6ion. The D-backs site says Game 1 is a "webcast", but the broadcast schedule doesn't mention it. Conversely, that says the later game is on MLB.tv, with audio on MLB.com, but doesn't mention that the second game will be on Fox Sports Arizona, albeit with the Angels' commentators [so I wouldn't expect to hear too much about any of our players!] We will figure it out, I'm sure...
