One piece of Diamondbacks' news this morning, left-handed reliever Matt Reynolds has been optioned down to Reno, leaving 40 players left in the major-league side of spring training for Arizona. This wasn't entirely unexpected, and I couldn't quite be bothered to do an entire post on the topic, for the eight people or so who might care deeply about the move. There are expected to be more tomorrow though. This does leave Wesley Wright as the main left-handed option to join Chafin in the bullpen, even if Wright was unimpressive in the ninth yesterday, picking up a blown save.

This afternoon's game at Salt River Fields will be on both the TV, at Fox Sports Arizona, and on the radio through Arizona Sports 98.7 FM - npt sure why they didn't split coverage and do both, but I imagine they're all set-up at6 SRF, and didn't want to trek all the way out to Surprise. Looking at the line-up there, neither did the players, with Lamb likely the only one against the Rangers who would likely be on a full-strength Opening Day line-up for Arizona.
