Following in the footsteps of Rubby De La Rosa yesterday, Robbie Ray is throwing in a minor-league game today, with Godley starting here. This could be read as an indication Ray has the edge over Bradley and Godley for the fifth spot, and that would also be in line with their performances to date. But we're still more than two weeks and several trips round the rotation from Opening Day, so probably best not jump to any conclusions. Good to see Tomas back in the line-up, and I also note Chafin scheduled to pitch today - been a while since we've seen him as well, and his last appearance wasn't exactly impressive, so let's see if he can establish himself.
The game this afternoon is broadcast on Fox Sports Arizona, and I believe I heard somewhere it's also a sellout, so seems attendance is picking up of late.
