I had another baseball dream last night. This one was, at least D-backs related. Willie Bloomquist put a bunt down the left-field line, which got past the charging Dodgers' third baseman, and he ended up on second-base. However, the other team made a pitching change, and Bloomquist left second-base to explore the shops in the outfield (look, I didn't say any of this would make sense). He was eventually tagged out after a lengthy run-down, which took him through the dugout and down into the clubhouse. I would probably actually endorse this rule change.
Corbin makes his second start, having had a solid first outing. That lasted two scoreless innings, with a pair of hits allowed and three strikeouts. Expect that to be upped to three innings today, all being well. I think he will be the last of the major candidates for the rotation to get his second outing - Braden Shipley has still only been seen once, but he is very much an outsider. Nothing in the way of coverage for this one, at least according to the broadcast schedule, and if so, we'll be at the whimsical mercies of whoever is operating Gameday!
