I had a weird, baseball-related dream last night. Oddly, it didn't appear to involve the Diamondbacks. We were in St. Louis with Mrs. Snakepit and SnakePit Jr, and coincidentally, there was a playoff baseball game. We got tickets for it, and SnakePit Jr was all excited because he found a stack of misprinted tickets which had the middle printed upside down. We went to the park, but it wasn't a normal stadium. It was a field in the middle of some houses, and they had converted the upper floors of the houses into bleachers. Oh, and the Purple Row staff had taken over the bottom of one of the houses. Not sure why, I don't think the Rockies were playing either. It was strange...
Miller makes his second start, and will look to improve on a first outing where he allowed two runs over two inning, on five hits and a walk with no strikeouts, though the BABIP odds were admittedly not working in his favor. But still no Yasmany Tomas. He apparently felt some discomfort after hitting yesterday, so is being kept out again. According to Steve Gilbert, Tomas is "not sure how he injured his knee but does not believe it is serious." Socrates Brito waves from the sidelines... This afternoon’s game will be broadcast by FOX Sports West and that production will also air on FOX Sports Arizona. No radio coverage though.
