Diamondbacks' starter Robbie Ray was unable to control his pitch count and Matt Kemp took advantage in the 5th inning by launching a three-run home run to help lead San Diego to a win of game three and the series.

After walking in only 3.8% of his plate appearances through the end of August, Chris Owings has picked up the pace in September, walking in 10% of his plate appearances for the month.
