AAA: Reno 8 @ El Paso 4. Allen Webster was decent going 6+ innings allowing 3 runs on 9 hits with 8 strikeouts. Danny Dorn did all the damage with 2 doubles and a home run for 5 RBI. Matt Pagnozzi had 3 hits with a double and his 4th home run. Jamie Romak hit his 21st home run.

AA: Mobile 7 Jacksonville 2. John Omahen allowed 2 runs over 6 innings and Jake Barrett followed with 3 perfect innings and 4 strikeouts. That was plenty good enough for an offense led by Rudy Flores who provided a double, a home run and 3 RBI. Sean Jamieson and Socrates Brito each had a pair of singles and Stewart Ijames hit his 2nd homer for Mobile.

A+: Visalia 5 @ Modesto 8. Blake Perry had an off night serving up 7 runs in 5+ innings. The offense couldn't catch up to that in spite of Jamie Westbrook going 4 for 5 with a double and an RBI. Gerson Montilla had 2 hits and 2 RBI while Mitch Haniger added a 2-run homer.

A: Kane County 0 Cedar Rapids 7. The Cougars were never in this one as Chris Oliver gave up 5 unearned runs in 5 innings. The offense didn't show with just 4 hits, 2 by Ildemarro Vargas.

A-: Hillsboro 3 @ Tri-City 6. The Hops were winning a pitcher's duel behind 4 shutout innings from Cody Reed, 2 by Taylor Clarke and another from Brody Greer. But it all came undone as cameron Gann got clobbered for 5 runs in the 8th while getting just one out. Nate Robertson hit a 2-run homer in the 9th that meant nothing. Stephen Dezzi added 2 singles.

R: Missoula 2 Billings 4. The Osprey hung around in this one behind decent pitching from Yefrey Ramirez who allowed 3 runs over 6 innings. But the offense couldn't provide the necessary spark with just 5 hits. Isan Diaz had 2 hits with a double and an RBI, and Raymel Flores added 2 hits including a triple.
