A.J. Pollock named NL All-Star Reserve

A.J. Pollock has been named a reserve for the National League in the 2015 All-Star Game. Pollock becomes the second member of the Diamondbacks on this year's All-Star team, with Paul Goldschmidt getting the start at First Base.This is A.J.'s first All-Star selection. He was voted in by the players.

Pollock has hit a slash line of .303/.346/.464 with 10 Home Runs and 38 RBI. He holds a wRC+ of 120. He's also shown to be a great defender in Center, and currently has a 3.4 fWAR halfway through the season.

In non-Pollock news, Brad Ziegler was not among the relievers selected (and he was the only other possible candidate on the roster.) The rest of the NL roster is as follows:
