The ESPN Game of the Week sees second-paced Alabama face third-placed CGS, with 1.5 points currently between the teams. While both trail the leaders by some way, second-place still has value, as that also get to skip the first round of the playoffs. Recent form may favor the lower-ranked side. The Slammers have alternated wins and losses for the last five rounds - they won this week - while CGS are on a roll, having taken their last six contests, including the only defeat inflicted so far on top-ranked Trail-Hitters.
