Mark Trumbo dealt to Seattle

Dave Stewart speaks with forked tongue. For it appears Mark Trumbo has gone from "my guy" to "someone else's guy" in less than 48 hours.

According to MLB Daily Dish, "The D-Backs will also send reliever Vidal Nuno in exchange for right-handed pitcher Dominic Leone, former Cubs catcher Wellington Castillo, infield prospect Jack Reinheimer, and outfield prospect Gabriel Guerrero (Vladimir Guerrero's nephew). It seems that Leone will be Nuno's immediate replace, while Reinheimer and Guerrero will probably be assigned to AA, where they're currently playing."

The move would appear to free up an outfield spot for Yasmany Tomas, which would then allow Jake Lamb to play third-base when he returns from the disabled list. It also gives us a starting catcher in Welington Castillo, something we have been needing since the injury which took Tuffy Gosewisch out for the season, and forced us into the untenable position of playing Jarrod Saltalamacchia on a daily basis.

More on this story, as we look into it, but my immediate reaction is favorable. GuruB may feel differently...
