SnakePit Fantasy Baseball Week 12

Nolan Arenado had a week for the record books. I sure hope he cools off before coming to Chase this weekend...

AZ SnakePit 7, Rougned Hodor 3
Hitter of the Week Arenado had seven HR and 14 RBI for Snake with Frazier homering twice; Rougned countered with four HR by Granderson, while Franco got three HR + 13 RBI. Martinez and Jimenez each got two W +15 K for Snake; Britton saved three for the Hodors.

MyWieterGetzLongoria 1, What the Hellickson? 9
The week's biggest blowout saw What move into a playoff spot, as they swept hitting behind two HR from Desmond and Gardner. Despite Archer's W +17 strikeouts, Wieter's sole win was in Sv, where Storen notched three. Hutchinson picked up two W + 14 K for Hellickson.

Angry Saguaro 3, Waffles 7
Three home-runs from Encarnacion helped Waffles to victory, but it was their pitching, led by Pitcher of the Week McHugh's two W and 14 K, the main source of their success. Fiers notched 11 K's for Angry, with Ortiz adding a pair of home-runs. WHIP went to the third decimal.

Smell the Glove 2, CGS 7
Smell got 12 RBI from Posey and batted a collective .302, but those two categories were their only successes. Odor and Turner each had two home-runs and drove in four for CGS; on the mound, they came within one Sv of a sweep, getting a Win and 22 strikeouts by Bumgarner.

Socrates Burritos 3, Mizzoula Osprey 7
The Osprey lifted themselves out of the relegation zone, after a hard-fought battle which saw W and SB end level. Socrates hit .304 but managed only one HR; Mizzoula got two from Eaton, plus three Sv by Holland, and a W + 11 K from Greinke. Estrada fanned 10 for the Burritos.

Trail-Hitters 6, Alabama Slammers 3
Trail were largely untroubled in a top of the table battle. sweeping pitching as Keuchel notched a Win plus a dozen strikeouts. Hernandez fanned 13 for Alabama, who also got three HR from Martinez, but got just a single W. Correa and Stanton each went deep twice for the Hitters.

Dirk Ziegler 3, Yasmany as Possible 5
HR and W were tied here, but Yasmany did just enough elsewhere, getting two HR from Dozier and Heyward, while Sale added ten strikeouts. Teammates Norris + Kemp each had two HR for Dirk, while Buchholz notched a Win and seven strikeouts in a losing cause.
