Week 11 results

AZ SnakePit 5, What the Hellickson? 5
The only close game ended level, Snake edging HR by one on the final day to grab a tie. They got five HR from Frazier, and three by Harper, but What got three from Machado. Hellickson had better pitching, behind Lackey (two W) and Velazquez  (12 K); Grilli saved for for AZ.

MyWieterGetzLongoria 0, Waffles 10
The week's biggest blowout and shock, Wieter being whitewashed by Waffles. Pitching was particularly one-sided: Waffles had Pitcher of the Week Sanchez (two W, 12 K), Walker (two W, 17 K) and Scherzer too. with three HR from Grandal and Gonzalez. No point was even that close.

Angry Saguaro 3, CGS 7
Volquez took all five points on the mound, as Volquez picked up a pair of Wins, and Smith added a trio of Saves. On offense, they also got three HR from Hitter of the Week Turner, but the Saguaro made a game of it there, as Pillar homered twice and Martin scored five, but CGS cruised to victory.

Smell the Glove 1, Mizzoula Osprey 7
The Osprey got their best result of the season, their offense driven by a collective .308 average, plus two HR and eight RBI from Cain. Betts added two HR and eight Runs. Posey had six Runs and five RBI for Glove, who took only R. W + Sv ended level; Liriano had a W + 18 K for Mizzoula.

Socrates Burritos 3, Alabama Slammers 7
Alabama moved into second as they swept hitting, where Zobrist had eight RBI and ten Runs, Pujols adding three HR and ten RBI, and Martinez three HR. The Burritos edged things on the mound, led by Teheran's W + 8 strikeouts, but Perez picked up two Wins for the Slammers.

Trail-Hitters 7, Dirk Ziegler 2
Trail swept past a weak Dirk offense (.235), Bruce and Stanton each delivered two home-runs and driving in five; Ziegler got two HR and four R from Kemp. The pitching points ended up even: Hahn gave Dirk a pair of Wins, but Syndergaard notched 14 strikeouts for the Hitters.

Rougned Hodor 3, Yasmany as Possible 7
Another sweep of hitting, Yasmany getting four HR from Springer and 11 RBI by Vogt, despite strong showing from Bautista (three HR, 11 RBI) and Rizzo (four HR) for Rougned. They did better in pitching, with three Sv from Clippard, and a W + 12 K by Wacha; Sale had 14 K for Possible.

Week 12 schedule

AZ SnakePit vs. Rougned Hodor
MyWieterGetzLongoria vs. What the Hellickson?
Angry Saguaro vs. Waffles
Smell the Glove vs. CGS
Socrates Burritos vs. Mizzoula Osprey
Trail-Hitters vs. Alabama Slammers
Dirk Ziegler vs. Yasmany as Possible

An easy pick for this week's ESPN televised contest, as first-place faced second, the Trail-Hitters taking on the Slammers. Trail have had a serene and almost undisturbed progress so far, a 3-6 loss in week 9 to Socrates their only defeat so far. But Alabama have been on a roll over late, winning their last three games by four points or more, with an overall margin of 23-7, so should present Trail with their toughest test yet.
