Quick Quotes

"It's impressive that he's so patient and he can be 0-2 in a count and still hurt you. It's like his approach is just perfect."

-Hector Santiago on Paul Goldschmidt

"He almost threw a no-hitter the other day in San Fran. It was a great game and the guys fed off of it, they enjoyed it. He got those other pitchers going. He's becoming a leader on the staff is what he is doing."

-Chip Hale on Chase Anderson

Bradley to Pitch Simulated Game

Archie Bradley was scheduled to pitch three innings of simulated ball Wednesday evening, the first step in a long road back to the majors for the young pitcher. There is still no timetable for his return.

Aaron Blair Promoted to AAA

After dominating Mobile for 21 games over the last two seasons, Aaron Blair was promoted to Reno and made his first start for the Aces on Wednesday. While things went poorly in his first appearance for the Aces (4 IP, 8 ER, 2BB, 2 HR), he still shows the sort of stuff that makes it only a short matter of time before he is called up to pitch for the Diamondbacks.
