Dbacks MiLB Round-Up 6/10: Trahan Hits 11th HR

Stryker Trahan continues on his road back to prospect relevance with his 11th home run Wednesday night, though it didn't end up a victory for Kane County. In his last 10 games he's hitting .416 with 5 home runs and 16 RBI. He's still striking out at a somewhat alarming rate but the power is really starting to show up even if the OBP is not where you want it to be.

AAA: Reno - Off Day

AA: Mobile 4 @ Biloxi 3. A.J. Schugel had a solid performance going 7 innings allowing 3 runs, 2 on a home run in the 7th that made it a 4-3 game. The bullpen did its job though with Keith Hessler throwing a perfect 8th and Silvino Bracho getting his 1st save at the AA level with a clean 9th. Gerson Montilla had 3 hits and an RBI while Sean jamieson hit a solo home run in the 6th that proved to be the game winner.

A+: Visalia 9 Lancaster 11. The Rawhide lost a wild one in 10 innings. They got down big early when Blayne Weller had a tough outing allowing 8 runs in 4+ innings. But the offense scored 7 runs in the 6th, 7th and 8th innings to tie the game at 9-9. Unfortunately J.R. Bradley surrendered 2 runs in the 10th on 3 hits and the team out of comebacks. Michael Perez had a nice game going 2 for 3 with a walk and a 2-run homer. Daniel Palka also had a 2-run homer, his 8th.

A: Kane County 2 @ Fort Wayne 4. Brad Keller was so-so allowing 4 runs over 6 innings on 10 hits, though he did strike out 7. The only response from the offense was a 2-run homer by Stryker Trahan in the 2nd that gave the Cougars an early lead they couldn't make hold up.
