Dbacks 1, Dodgers 3

Robbie Ray pitched well tonight. Sure he had a couple rough patches, but in six and two thirds innings, he personally only gave up one run. On top of that, he was also fairly efficient, only throwing 102 pitches during that time. Unfortunately for him, he gave up a solo home run in the sixth, and left the game with a runner on first. Chip Hale brought in Addison Reed. Reed quickly loaded the bases and gave up a two run single to give the Dodgers a 3-1 lead late in the game, and they never gave it back.

The offense was basically completely futile as well tonight. The only run they managed was thanks to a wild pitch off Dodgers starter, Carlos Frias. Other than that, a couple of key Caught Stealings either severely hampered the threats that they did put together, and they just went away quietly into the night. Full recap to follow shortly, full of the gory details...
