Baseball sure is weird. After both teams exploded with runs in the 1st game, the Diamondbacks and Rockies combined for 6 runs in the finale of the doubleheader. Luckily for the Dbacks, they scored 5 of the 6 to complete the sweep.
Robbie Ray was called up as the 26th man to start the game but was really good, touching 97 mph and flashed a solid slider and change-up. Despite what we may have heard from his prospect reports, his command was great and he looked like he deserved to stay on the MLB roster. He gave up only 5 hits and a run in his 6 innings. Andrew Chafin and Addison Reed followed were even better, combining for 3 innings of scoreless relief.
On offense, Goldy snapped out of his "slump" from the game before and had two hits including a homer to start the scoring. Other contributors include: David Peralta with a 2 rbi double, Chad Cliff Pennington had 2 hits and Tuffy Gosewisch had 3 hits to lead the team to a victory.
