AAA: Reno 3 New Orleans 14. The Aces got blasted when Gabriel Arias got pummeled for 5 runs in the 1st inning and Tim Crabbe got pummeled for 4 more in the 4th. The offense only provided 6 hits with 2 doubles by Todd Glaesmann.
AA: Mobile 3 @ Tennessee 7. Brandon Sinnery's recent struggles continued somewhat as he allowed 5 runs (4 earned) on 6 hits and 3 walks over 5 innings. The offense wasn't quite up to the task with 8 hits, just one for extra bases. Brandon Drury and Gerson Montilla each reached base 4 times with 2 hits and 2 walks. Socrates Brito chipped in with 2 hits including a triple.
A+: Visalia 8 Modesto 1. The Rawhide won easily as John Omahen put in a very solid performance allowing one run on 3 hits and 3 walks. The offense was on task with 13 hits, 7 for extra bases, and 4 walks. Kevin Cron led the way with 3 hits including 2 doubles and an RBI. Jamie Westbrook had a single, a double, a walk and 2 RBI. Daniel Palka and Stewart Ijames each had 2 hits with a double.
A: Kane County 4 @ Peoria 3. Markus Solbach was extra special tossing 7 shutout innings on 2 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5. Unfortunately he had the win stolen from him when Jency Solis and Zac Curtis combined to allow 3 runs in the 8th to tie the game at 3-3. They regained the lead in the 9th when Victor Reyes drove in Elvin Soto with a single. Curtis rebounded to close things out in the 9th to get the win. The offense only had 5 hits with 2 from Reyes who drove in 3 runs. Ildemarro Vargas had 2 hits and a walk.
