Diamondbacks 4, Cardinals 6

Not a good start at all for Archie Bradley tonight. He only was able to go 3.2 innings tonight, which is kind of to be expected when you give up four runs in the first inning. When you look at the rest of his line, it doesn't really get any better. He ended up being responsible for all six runs the Cardinals scored, gave up five hits, three walks, a home run, and only three strikeouts.

The offense kept the Dbacks in the game, but also struggled at a couple key points. They scored four runs off Cardinals' starter, but they didn't score anything after the third inning and wasted a bases loaded opportunity in the seventh inning when Yasmany Tomas struck out to end the inning, and then another situation with two outs in ninth, where the tying run was at second.

The bullpen also did a good job keeping the team in the game. Between Vidal Nuno, Daniel Hudson, and Addison Reed, the Cardinals failed to score, only got three hits, and struck out six times. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to overcome the early deficit, and the Cardinals win. Full recap to follow.
