Peter O'Brien homered for the 11th time in Reno's big win and has amassed 44 RBI in 40 games. He's hitting .344 and his K rate is okay around 20%. In some organizations he'd be getting his chance by now, but the crowded Dbacks outfield is making that nigh impossible right now.

AAA: Reno 12 @ Omaha 3. Robbie Ray started and while he only allowed one run he didn't get out of the 5th inning before throwing 105 pitches. He gave up 6 hits and 3 walks while striking out 7. Kaleb Fleck stole the win for getting just the final 2 outs in the 5th. The offense blew it open early with 5 in the 3rd and 4 more in the 4th. O'Brien had another big game with 3 hits including a double and a homer with 3 RBI. Mike Freeman had 4 RBI with a single and a triple while Nick Evans had 3 hits with 2 doubles.
AA: Mobile 6 Chattanooga 7. Brandon Sinnery and some shaky defense dug the BayBears an early 6-1 hole but Sinnery righted the ship and followed with 4 shutout innings. That gave the offense a chance and they battled all the way back to a 6-6 tie in the 8th before a Brandon Drury throwing error (playing third base) contributed to the winning run in the top of the 9th. Drury had 2 hits and an RBI but 2 errors as well. Gerson Montilla and Mitch Haniger each had 2 hits and Sean Jamieson added a solo home run.
A+: Visalia 7 @ Modesto 8. Visalia looked to be heading to another close victory before J.R. Bradley squandered a one-run lead in the 8th by allowing 3 runs on 3 hits, his first runs allowed this year. John Omahen started and was so-so allowing 5 runs (3 earned) over 5 innings on 4 hits and 3 walks. Breland Almadova and Kevin Cron each homered and Jamie Westbrook had 3 hits.
A: Kane County 2 Wisconsin 0. Brad Keller was fairly sharp if a tad wild with 6+ shutout innings on 5 hits and 4 walks while striking out 5. Jency Solis earned a hold getting 4 outs and Zac Curtis got his 8th save striking out the side while allowing a hit. The offense only managed 4 hits but that was enough as Victor Reyes and Marty Herum each drove in a run.
