Mobile's Zach Borenstein hit for the cycle though to little avail as Mobile fell 10-9. Borenstein singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, homered in the 4th, walked in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. He finished 4 for 4 with 3 RBI.

AAA: Reno 11 Salt Lake 1. Caleb Clay was very good holding Salt Lake to 1 run over 7 innings and the offense turned it into a laugher when Nick Evans hit a grand slam in the 3rd inning. They followed up the 6-run 3rd with 4 more in the 4th. Evans had 6 RBI on the night. Mike Freeman had 2 hits and 3 RBI.
AA: Mobile 9 Birmingham 10. The BayBears fought back time and again in the early going behind Zach Borenstein's cycle night but it proved not enough when the bullpen gave up 3 runs in the 8th. Brandon Sinnery had his worst start of the year allowing 7 runs in just 3 innings. Seth Simmons provided 3 innings of scoreless relief to allow for the comeback before Jimmie Sherfy and Keith Hessler combined for the evil 8th.
A+: Visalia 4 San Jose 5. The Rawhide tussled into the 11th before falling 5-4. Anthony Banda wasn't his best allowing 4 runs over 5 innings. Kevin Cron tied the score at 4-4 with a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 5th. The bullpens battled from there with a notable appearance by David Hernandez who pitched a scoreless 6th with a strikeout. Four other relievrs followed with 4 shutout innings before Ryan Doran gave up the go-ahead run in the 11th. Steve McQuail had 2 hits with a double.
A: Kane County 4 @ Wisconsin 2. Brent Jones was solid though a bit wild allowing 1 run over 5 innings on 5 hits and 4 walks while striking out 6. Marty Herum and Grant Heyman led the offense with 3 and 2 hits respectively with an RBI each. Zac Curtis pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the 9th to secure his 6th save.
