No word as to why the team made the late decision to swap out Vidal Nuno. He was still in the running for a bullpen spot: perhaps the decision has now been made, and the team decided not to waste his bullets in an exhibition game, when they might need them on Monday? Or perhaps there is an injury concern? So, could go either way... We should know after the game, since the roster has to be sent in to MLB by tomorrow lunchtime, and that's an off-day for the Diamondbacks. Anyway, congrats to Banda, who gets to start a game at Chase Field in front of a far larger crowd than he would have pitching for A-ball South Bend last year!

Next time I have to write one of these, it counts...
