I should just mention the caption to the above picture, which is a story in itself...

Organisers of Pirates on the Prom Day 2014 were optimistic that more than 20,000 pirates would meet on the Penzance seafront to reclaim the world record they set three years ago, however the total was 14,155 pirates, 77 shy of the current world record now held by Hastings.
