"That's what I'm most proud of -- to have the long first and grind through six innings and leave with my team winning. I think that's where you've seen some of the growth in me out there."

It Happened Last Night

Rangers 5, Diamondbacks 8

Things did not start off well for rookie pitcher Archie Bradley as he walked three batters and hit one, all in the first inning. To his credit, he buckled down and still managed to pitch six innings, not allowing another run to score in the next five innings. The Diamondbacks' offense had a rare good night against Yovani Gallardo, and the team cruised to an 8-5 victory, despite a bullpen hiccup.
