Your Cactus League leading Diamondbacks - 5-1, baby! - go to Camelback Ranch to take on the White Sox.

Diamondbacks line-up

  3. Paul Goldschmidt, 1B
  4. David Peralta, LF
  5. Peter O'Brien, DH
  6. Brandon Drury, 2B

  8. Tuffy Gosewisch, C
  9. Nick Ahmed, SS
    + P Chase Anderson

Not sure who's DHing today. I'd guess O'Brien? The presence of Gosewisch would imply he's behind the dish. Could conceivably be Goldschmidt though, since they were talking about O'Brien getting some time at first, in order to let him see as many ABs as possible in spring. I'm presuming Pacheco is at third. Not sure who's scheduled to pitch this afternoon after Anderson: the usual post-game press notes from the D-backs, which list the other pitchers, doesn't appear to have shown up yesterday. Call it a surprise. And it will be, since I don't believe today's game is being broadcast by any local channel. Maybe those with mlb.tv know differently?

So far, the six Cactus League games for Arizona have gone pretty well. Our OPS of .823 is second in the NL, to Washington, and our ERA (3.67) ranks sixth. There have been no apparent health issues discovered. All told, about as good as you could hope for in the early going. Of course, there have been some individual ups and downs, and we'll get into those when we review the first week.

And, there we go: just seen a fuller line-up with positions and all. Feel free to ignore most of the first paragraph. :)
