You can tell it's spring training when you look at the man starting at lead-off for the Diamondback and go, "Who's he?" I really must get round to writing up my traditional guide to the non-roster invitees. I'll try and get that kicked off next week, I think. He actually has played in the majors, getting 20 PAs with the Dodgers in the 2013 campaign, but spent most of last season with Oakland's Triple-A affiliate [I really wanted to write "the A's AAA affiliate"!]. Just so you know, should you be going to Peoria today. It's also our first look at Collmenter, who may be our 2015 Opening Day starter. Which would be awesome for him, but have to say, seems a bleak comment on our starting pitching.

Greg Schulte and Tom Candiotti will have the calls for this game, on Arizona Sports, beginning at 1pm.
