Oh, look. It's Colorado again. This is my unsurprised face.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

After a solid victory in our Cactus League opener, we double down and go for the series sweep against our Colorado complex cousins this afternoon at Salt River Fields. Here's the Arizona line-up:

  1. Ender Inciarte, CF
  2. Nick Ahmed, SS
  3. Aaron Hill, 2B
  4. Mark Trumbo, RF
  5. Yasmany Tomas, 3B
  6. Cody Ross, LF
  7. Peter O'Brien, DH
  8. Danny Dorn, 1B
  9. Gerard Laird, C
+ P Trevor Cahill, Vidal Nuno, Archie Bradley, Oliver Perez, Evan Marshall and J.C. Ramirez.

So, if you bought tickets for this one, hoping to see Paul Goldschmidt in action... Looks like you will probably be out of luck! Cahill gets his first action of spring, It'll only be a couple of innings, naturally, but I'm curious to see it. Word has he has changed his mechanics [cross that one off your spring training bingo card, folks], and Chip Hale has said, "The ball has been very electric out of his hand so far." Just be aware, it will be a work in progress, and there will likely need to be adjustments made against live hitters. The ball was, as I recall, pretty electric out of his hand last year too. The problem was he had no clue where the movement would make it end up...

Another webcast, to be brought to you by Greg Schulte and Steve Berthiaume, available through dbacks.com, beginning at 1pm.
