Diamondbacks spring training Gameday Thread, #31: 3/30 vs. Dodgers

Of course, the last time these teams met, it led to two pitchers and two coaches from the Diamondbacks being ejected, for hittiing Dodgers' batters after warnings had been issued to both teams. I genuinely do not think there was anything deliberate in regard to those - Daniel Hudson's first plunking, is more dubious - and neither side seemed too keen on making much of it. I can't remember the last time there was a brawl in the Cactus League: some Googling shows the last one in spring training appears to have been between the Nationals and Phillies in March of 2011. Oh, look: Nyjer Morgan was involved. This is my unsurprised face.

Interesting to note the choice of pitchers today, which perhaps may indicate Chafin is not for the Opening Day roster, since the other arms listed look like we are carefully keeping a division rival from getting a look at any obvious pitching candidates. Goldie gets a day off after his trip to Mexico.
