Diamondbacks spring training Gameday Thread, #28: 3/28 vs. Royals

I'm trying to think, but this may be the first time Pacheco has ever played behind the plate for the Diamondbacks. I know he didn't in the regular season last year, after coming over from Colorado, and I don't recall typing him name out in any line-up this spring. Interesting. I also note Ahmed at short and Owings at second. What does it all mean? We may get a clue tomorrow, when there is expected to be another round of roster cuts, the penultimate batch before Opening Day. I presume this will also be Hellickson's penultimate start: if he pitched next Thursday, that would set him up for the second game against the Giants, on Tuesday April 7.
