It would not surprise me if a decision on whether or not Tomas makes the Opening Day roster could be imminent. With 11 days left, it's certainly time to be thinking about that. I also note the absence of Chris Owings again: he has been a bit intermittent since coming back from his shoulder issue, though did play on both Monday and Tuesday. I get the impression he isn't back to 100% fit yet, and suspect that may play into the final roster decision, with he or Nick Ahmed being the everyday shortstop for us.
