Big news this afternoon is the confirmation that one of the rotation spots has been locked down.

De La Rosa's performance this spring, particularly in the control department, has been shaky, but the strikeouts have been impressive. That would appear to indicate the rotation on Opening Day will probably be Josh Collmenter, Jeremy Hellickson, Trevor Cahill, Chase Anderson and de la Rosa. Cahill and Anderson have not formally been confirmed to this point, but nothing but praise has come out of the team for Anderson, and there doesn't appear to be any viable alternative spot for Cahill. Which is a kinda sad way for things to be resolved, I think.

Lopez has looked increasingly impressive this spring, so we'll see what he can do tonight. I believe there is no Ryan Braun in the Brewers' line-up tonight. I guess parking a FedEx truck outside Salt River Fields must have done the trick... No broadcast for this game, at least not from the home crew.
