Diamondbacks spring training Gameday Thread, #19: 3/19 vs. Cubs

Another gray day here in Arizona, but seems to be perking up nicely for the evening. Which is a good thing, since this one is a sell-out.

Diamondbacks line-up
  1. A.J. Pollock, CF
  2. Ender Inciarte, RF
  3. Paul Goldschmidt, 1B
  4. David Peralta, LF
  5. Chris Owings, 2B
  6. Jake Lamb, 3B
  7. Gerald Laird, C
  8. Nick Ahmed, SS
  9. Rubby De La Rosa, P
+ P Enrique Burgos, J.C. Ramirez, Oliver Perez, Dan Runzler, A.J. Schugel

De La Rosa will seek to strengthen his position in the rotation, and I'm thinking we should be expecting him to go four innings or so this evening. No Tomas or O'Brien in the line-up here, but it is still too early to draw much in the way of conclusions from their omission. It has been interesting to see the different line-up constructions with which Chip Hale has experimented. About the only constant appears to be Goldie hitting third. Can't say I mind this particular version too much.

I believe there is some other sport taking place today. Not sure on about that though, haven't heard much about it. No mention at all on my Twitter feed... Anyone know anything? I just hope your bracket is doing better than mine...
